MARION — The Marion Giants will host the county’s Unified Basketball teams next week, the final game series of the season, and Senior Night for the Giants.
At Marion High School, the Unified Basketball team is part of the Champions Together program, a collaboration between the IHSAA and Special Olympics that promotes servant leadership among student athletes while changing their lives as well as the lives of those with intellectual disabilities.
Teams from all of Grant County’s public high schools will compete in this final series of the season. Game times are 5:15, 6, 6:45, and 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 15, at Bill Green Athletic Arena.
Admission to the games is free, but there will be the opportunity to donate to Special Olympics (and a representative from the organization will be on hand to share information and answer questions).
We hope to see a great crowd out for this final game series of the season!
