IWU hosts networking event with major accounting firms
The DeVoe Division of Business at Indiana Wesleyan University— in collaboration with Trine University, University of Saint Francis, Grace College, and Goshen College— is hosting the second annual Meet the Firms event, a special networking event designed for students to connect with national and local accounting firms. Meet the Firms will take place at 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 7 in the IWU Barnes Student Center.
Approximately 15 firms will be represented, including the following:
“The relationships the students build at this event may affect their entire professional career,” said Dr. Kent Williams, CPA, professor of business. “It is a great opportunity for our students to explore the opportunities in the CPA profession. CPA’s are considered the ‘Most Trusted Business Advisors.’ I want the students to meet these trusted professionals and to see that they can be a part of the profession working for one of these firms.”
