June is Alzheimer’s Awareness Month!
  
Currently, an estimated 47 million people worldwide, including 5 million Americans, are living with Alzheimer's disease and other dementias.  Every time we talk about Alzheimer’s disease it  helps bring awareness and inspires action – which is why Miller’s Merry Manor in Marion, Indiana will be hosting an  “Unconditional Love” Caring for a Person with Alzheimer’s and Dementia Informational Luncheon on Thursday, June 30th from 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.  This Luncheon is Free and Open to the Public.

This informational luncheon will discuss:
  • Understanding Alzheimer’s Disease (AD)
  • The Common Signs of Alzheimer’s Disease and When its time to get help
  • The Medical side of Alzheimer’s Disease
  • And More!
Guest speakers will be: 
  • Lisa Garrett, Registered Nurse, Director of Nursing and Certified Dementia Practitioner;
  • Michelle Wanamaker, Social Services Director;
  • Jennifer Enyeart, LPN and Boulevard Coordinator
