CSA Civic Theatre Announces Auditions for Jacob Marley’s Christmas Carol

Marion, Indiana — September 23, 2025 — The Community School of the Arts (CSA) Civic Theatre is pleased to announce auditions for its upcoming holiday production, Jacob Marley’s Christmas Carol, by Tom Mula and under the direction of Ryan Akers. Performances are slated for December 5-7 and December 12-14, 2025. 

This imaginative retelling of Charles Dickens’ classic A Christmas Carol is told through the eyes of Jacob Marley, Scrooge’s former business partner. As Marley—haunted in death—he embarks on a desperate quest to save Scrooge’s soul, offering audiences a fresh, humorous, suspenseful, and emotionally rich experience. 

Audition Details

• Dates: September 29 & 30, 2025

• Who May Audition: All community members 16+ are welcome—seasoned performers and newcomers alike. Roles are versatile, and many actors will portray multiple characters.
